At the Wandsworth Group, we were considering replacing our in house HR service with an outsourced provider to reduce costs but were worried about the impact on staff. In the 12 months we have used the HR Dept we have had our employment contracts updated for 150 staff, developed a new handbook, delivered HR training for our managers on absence management and recruitment and used the HR Dept as and when we need advise on day to day employment issues. We have just renewed the service for another year having felt confident that it provides us with what we need to remain up to date and and manage our HR requirements.

We became a retainer client of the HR Department in October 2006 when we were going through a period of expansion. The HR Dept helped us with every aspect of the recruitment process from developing the job description, advertising, short listing and the interviews to ensure we recruited the best match. We now use the HR dept for all our HR needs.
