I thought that you being around before we went live with
the business was good because it gave the new guys chance
to speak to someone independently to allay their fears if
they had any. On live day when we visited all the branches
and introduced ourselves it was good to be able to offer the
guys your assistance.
We have needed your advice on several matters with contract,
TUPE's, recruitment, performance management and just general
advice on policy and procedure. This has been a useful source.
The contracts and letters that you have prepared for us have

We have received training from you in relation to absence

Mediation Works has contracted with HR Dept (Sara Abbot)
to provide HR advice and support on an annual retainer basis
since May 2006.
Over the last two years we have benefited enormously from
Sara’s input and she has become an integral part of
the management team, frequently attending management meetings

Ms. Sara Abbott was retained by BAE Systems Products Group
(BSPG) in March of 2008 to assist and advise executive management
in the closure of a £2M, 15-employee handcuff production
facility located in the Great Barr district of metropolitan
Birmingham.
I was the main conduit between BSPG and Ms. Abbot. Throughout
the four month process, I found her to be exceedingly professional
and ethical, expert in all related subject matter, compassionate
to affected employees, and very experienced in terms of similar
redundancies and closures. She worked exceedingly hard on
our behalf, in one case even advising an affected employee
