Donna Nook is located around 10 miles away from Louth, a busy market town. It’s close to the A16, which connects to local towns and villages, including Humberston, Waltham, Yudney, Yarburgh, North Ormsby and Little Grimsby. There are regular bus services around Donna Nook and to the nearby towns and villages. The nearest railway station is located at Cleethorpes.

One of the most interesting features of Donna Nook is its status as a wildlife haven. In fact, this stretch of coastline is home to over a third of the world’s grey seal population. There are also plenty of interesting things to do in the area, including Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, St James Church, Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, Louth Distillery, Cleethorpes Boating Lake and Spurn Point. 

 

In and around Donna Nook, you will also find some great pubs and gastropubs, with the odd tourist cafe and restaurant, especially as you move closer to Louth and the other larger villages. Head to Cleethorpes, and you’ll find a busy seaside town with plenty of family attractions, activities and eateries, along with independent shops and outdoor activities.
