To help businesses fund training opportunities which will attract new talent and upskill your workforce, there are\u00a0several\u00a0schemes and initiatives available both locally and nationally. We\u2019ve highlighted some of the new, and long-running support packages which\u00a0The HR Dept can help you access.<\/p>\n
Anyone employed from the 1st April 2021 is eligible for an apprenticeship, with no age restrictions! Employees who have a degree can also take part. With apprenticeships available from Level 2 up to Level 7, they are accessible to anyone within your business and are a great tool for engaging and retaining your workforce.<\/p>\n
The government will fund 95% of the cost of the programme. Furthermore, you can claim \u00a33,000 per employee for anyone within your business who commenced employment between 1st April 2021 and 30th September 2021. This will help you:<\/p>\n
The closing date for applications is\u202f30th November 2021<\/strong> for employees who started between 1st April and 30th September 2021.<\/p>\n Employees who commenced employment between 1st<\/sup>\u00a0October 2021 and 31st\u00a0January\u00a02022 will be able to apply for funding\u00a0from January 2022.<\/p>\n An additional \u00a31000 incentive payment is available for apprentices aged 16-18.<\/p>\n The amount payable depends on whether you pay the apprenticeship levy or not. You pay the levy if you\u2019re an employer with a\u202fpay bill over \u00a33 million each year.<\/p>\n The HR Dept have partnered with the highest quality apprenticeship providers offering courses including\u00a0Management,\u00a0Learning and Development, Digital\u00a0Marketing, Content Production, Administration, IT, Accountancy, Hospitality, Adult and Early Years Care, Retail\u00a0and Customer Service, as well as Facilities Management.<\/strong>\u00a0 Courses are designed to fit around the needs of the business while upskilling and demonstrating investment in your team.<\/p>\nEligibility<\/h2>\n
