There’s been a lot in the news about unacceptable behaviour in the workplace. It is important to understand what responsibilities managers have; recognising the effects bullying & harassment can have on individuals and the legal and reputational risks of the company if you ignore.
We will cover:

 What constitutes inappropriate behaviour at work
 When’s ‘banter’ not acceptable and what to do
 Understanding current legislation and The Equality Act including the different types of discrimination e.g. direct, indirect and discrimination by association
 Assertive management style or bullying?
 What is bullying and harassment and what’s the difference?
