Emma Charlick

Director

I have worked as an HR Generalist in both retail and a large international company since finishing my degree in Human Resource Management in 2010. Being able to draw on these experiences has really assisted me in growing with the HR Dept South Essex and with our clients. Coming up with the best solution to our clients HR issues can be challenging but being able to discuss this with a team and look back at similar issues really allows you to give the best response you can.

Tailoring our services to each client requires you to be personable and understanding of the client’s needs and since joining the HR Dept, my relationships with many of our clients Senior Manager, Directors and CEO’s have grown and given me additional skills needed to work in a consultancy. My confidence has rocketed since joining Linda’s team and knowing that you can never predict what cases will come in really does keep you on your toes and makes you want to continue learning so you can provide everything your clients’ needs and more.

Working alongside someone with Linda’s knowledge and experience has been a fantastic opportunity and being made Director I believe shows the trust that Linda and our clients have in my ability to provide the best services that we can.

Chloe Bird

HR Advisor

After being inspired by my Psychology studies at A-Level, I decided to start building a career in HR. Linda and Emma took me on as an Apprentice in April 2019, and supported me through my Level 3 HR qualification, which I gained in September of 2020. I am now furthering my career by building a strong rapport with our current clients, and taking on new clients of my own to support and advise, obtaining their full trust in my capabilities and knowledge.

While I enjoy all aspects of HR Consultancy, I am most passionate about how a company can retain their employees by catering to their wellbeing needs, and ensuring employers are aware of the support that they can provide to their staff, keeping staff morale at its best so that all parties are benefitted. I am a huge mental health and wellbeing advocate thanks to the Psychology!
