Axminster is a market town and borough on the eastern border of Devon, around 45 miles from Exeter. It overlooks the River Axe and has a population of nearly 6,000 people. The town is also served by a local bus service that covers local villages and towns including Colyton, Beer, Seaton, Weymouth, Taunton and Dorchester.
