(AKA Chief People Problem Solver!)
Based in the heart of Leicestershire, Nicola Morrison brings over 25 years of HR expertise to local businesses who want practical, no-nonsense people support. Nicola leads the HR Dept in Leicester & North West Leicestershire, supporting local SMEs through every people challenge imaginable, helping them solve their trickiest people problems!
As a seasoned HR consultant and former executive-level HR leader, Nicola knows that managing people isn’t always straightforward. From complex employee relations to leadership development, she helps Leicestershire-based businesses navigate HR issues with clarity, compliance, and confidence.
Nicola is a Fellow of the CIPD and has led HR teams at executive level, but her heart is with local businesses who want hands-on, personalised HR support. She’s passionate about building inclusive teams, coaching leaders, and helping businesses across Leicestershire thrive through better HR practices.

Lauren Moore – HR Officer

Lauren is the friendly face (and steady hand) behind the scenes at the HR Dept – Leicester & North West Leicestershire. As our HR Officer, she’s the one making sure everything runs smoothly for our local clients – handling contracts, compliance, and day to day people queries with calm, clarity, and expert care.
Working with businesses across Leicestershire, Lauren is often the first point of contact for those “Wait… what do we do now?” moments. From drafting watertight contracts to updating HR policies or supporting clients through complex TUPE transfers, she ensures every detail is handled with precision and a reassuring smile.
With a genuine love of helping people (yes, even during TUPE transfers), Lauren brings a brilliantly practical mindset to the HR Dept team. She’s methodical, organised (bordering on magical), and quietly determined to get things done properly – especially when your business is counting on it.
And when she’s not sorting out people problems? She’s usually refereeing enthusiastic games between her two young boys or being taken for a walk by her energetic dog. Let’s just say multi-tasking comes naturally.
Kennedy – Pawformance & Wellbeing Lead
(AKA Chief Morale Officer and Biscuit Enthusiast)
Kennedy might walk on four paws, but he’s a fully integrated member of the team! Bringing positive energy, a keen interest in snack-based motivation, and absolutely zero respect for personal space (especially if you’re eating).
Known for his calming presence and excellent listening skills (unless there’s a squirrel), Kennedy plays a vital role in keeping team spirits high. Whether he’s popping up on a client Zoom call, demanding a mid-afternoon walk, or offering silent support during a stressful moment, he’s always right where you need him.
When he’s not busy boosting morale, Kennedy can be found napping in the sun, patrolling the office for crumbs, or pretending he didn’t just steal your sandwich. His qualifications may be unconventional, but his impact is undeniable.
Every team needs a little chaos, a lot of loyalty, and someone who insists on regular fresh air breaks—and for us, that’s Kennedy.
