Director of The HR Dept in Leicester & NW Leicestershire territory, Nicola is passionate about helping local SMEs with any people problems and can provide a comprehensive and responsive HR service.
Having worked in a number of successful and wide-ranging job profiles across the commercial, not-for-profit, healthcare and education sectors, Nicola is able to provide a dedicated, in-depth HR service, while remaining commercially focused on what will work well for the business.

Nicola has over 20 years of generalist HR experience, advising on and managing people issues. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Development, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Employment Law and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.

Nicola Morrison – Managing Director
(AKA Chief People Problem Solver!)
With over 25 years in the world of HR (yes, she’s seen it all), Nicola knows that when it comes to managing people, things don’t always go by the book—even if she’s got the handbook memorised! As a seasoned HR consultant and former executive-level HR leader, Nicola specialises in helping SMEs untangle even the knottiest people puzzles, without the jargon, judgement, or unnecessary drama.
She’s the kind of HR pro who actually likes employment law, and genuinely gets excited about helping businesses grow through better people practices. Think of her as your business’s HR sat-nav—strategic, practical, and here to reroute you when things get bumpy.
A proud Fellow of the CIPD, Nicola is all about building inclusive, high-performing teams and giving leaders the confidence to lead well—without losing sleep over contracts, compliance, or conflict. Whether she’s guiding a CEO through a restructure or coaching a line manager through their first tricky conversation, Nicola brings calm, clarity, and just the right amount of caffeine!
When she’s not working her HR magic, she’s probably mentoring budding HR practitioners, plotting world domination with post-it notes, or reminding her dog that he is not the line manager!
Lauren Moore – HR Officer
(AKA People Support Pro and Chief Organiser)
Lauren is the friendly face (and steady hand) behind the scenes, making sure everything in our HR world runs smoothly……and that our clients feel supported every step of the way. As our HR Officer, she’s the go-to person for all the details, deadlines, and day-to-day people puzzles that keep teams ticking.
Whether she’s drafting contracts, wrangling policies, or helping clients through those “umm, what do we do now?” moments, Lauren brings calm, clarity, and a brilliantly practical mindset to everything she touches. She’s organised (bordering on magical), unflappable in a crisis, and quietly fierce when it comes to doing things properly.
With a genuine love of helping people (yes, even during TUPE transfers), Lauren combines up to date know-how with a warm, people-first approach, because no one wants to feel like they’re talking to a robot when dealing with real-life team challenges.
And when she’s not sorting out people problems? She’s usually refereeing enthusiastic games between her two young boys or being taken for a walk by her energetic dog. Let’s just say multi-tasking comes naturally.
Kennedy – Pawformance & Wellbeing Lead
(AKA Chief Morale Officer and Biscuit Enthusiast)
Kennedy might walk on four paws, but he’s a fully integrated member of the team! Bringing positive energy, a keen interest in snack-based motivation, and absolutely zero respect for personal space (especially if you’re eating).
Known for his calming presence and excellent listening skills (unless there’s a squirrel), Kennedy plays a vital role in keeping team spirits high. Whether he’s popping up on a client Zoom call, demanding a mid-afternoon walk, or offering silent support during a stressful moment, he’s always right where you need him.
When he’s not busy boosting morale, Kennedy can be found napping in the sun, patrolling the office for crumbs, or pretending he didn’t just steal your sandwich. His qualifications may be unconventional, but his impact is undeniable.
Every team needs a little chaos, a lot of loyalty, and someone who insists on regular fresh air breaks—and for us, that’s Kennedy.
