Meet the team

Katie Aldridge

Director

Katie is the owner of the HR Dept Newbury and South Oxfordshire. She founded the business in October 2016, having previously worked as a senior HR professional in a career spanning over 20 years in a range of industries from not-for-profit, education, through to financial and pharmaceutical. Her background means that there are not many employment situations that she hasn’t encountered. Her positive mindset and her commercial, pragmatic approach help customers to explore all options to ensure that the outcome they decide on is the best one for their business.

Rachel James

HR Advisor

Rachel joined the team in March 2022, having already worked as an HR generalist for over 15 years, mainly with a homeless charity in Reading and previously with a commercial radio company. Having completed her CIPD Level 5, she is excited to use this learning, together with her experience to date, to continue to develop her skills, build relationships and provide an efficient and reliable service to our clients.

When not working, she is often found on two wheels cycling around the Berkshire/Hampshire countryside or taking on various cycle challenges.

Lucy Burnett

HR and Office Coordinator

With a background in recruitment and administration, Lucy is a natural people person. She brings her skill, knowledge and energy to support the customers and the team to ensure a first class customer experience. Over time we expect Lucy to refine and develop her skills and progress within the business.

When not working Lucy loves to spend time with her children and their Miniature Dachshund “Ditto”.
