What do you see when you look at this photo? We see resilience, bravery, creativity and thinking outside of the box to name a few.
Because of their size, small businesses need to take risks. I think it’s fair to say that SMEs can be much more adaptable and more robust to change than larger, more complex organisations. But even with this in mind, even with all the research, forecasting, prevention and risk assessing – and even when playing it safe, we understand that sometimes the going gets tough. Things are not always plain sailing and one minute you are looking out to sea and enjoying the view, the next minute the weather changes and you may feel like you have to cling on and not let go for fear of what is waiting on the rocks below.
