When are the courses and how long are they?

All of our courses, with the exception of the Management Essentials course, are designed to be held within a single morning or afternoon session. All of our courses are run once a quarter, except Management Essentials, which we run twice per year.

Management Essentials  – This course is made of 6 separate modules, delivered over a six week period. We can, dependent on numbers, accept bookings for an individual module, please call us to discuss.

The six modules included in this course are:

  4. Managing Absence
  5. Dealing With Misconduct
  6. Resolving Conflict

For those attendees who are attending all six modules, a full DISC report to help consolidate their learning will be included within the package cost.

Managing Difficult Conversations – Did you know over 75% of line managers have admitted avoiding having a difficult or tricky conversation with an employee, either through fear of getting it wrong, or because they feel under-equipped to get the right result? Two thirds of line managers admitted feeling stressed by the prospect of having a difficult conversation, which means there is a double impact when an issue needs dealing with. Effective Coaching And Delegation – Coaching and delegation go hand in hand, with the general rule being that you train someone to perform a task or role, and then delegate to allow practice and development of skills. Quality coaching allows your team to learn the right way, first time. Effective delegation ensures that tasks are completed to a high standard by someone who is committed to doing that task successfully. Moving From Mate To Manager – One of the hardest steps in moving up the ladder is when you move from working within a team to being tasked with leading it.
