Managing Conflict

At this informative workshop we will look into how to manage conflict at the workplace, handling difficult conversations and the role of mediation.

About this event

None of us like to admit there are simmering’s of conflict where we work. Whether it’s a sudden or gradual change, at some point, if we haven’t already, we will all be faced with a conflict situation. Knowing what it is and how to deal with it is key to ensuring it doesn’t escalate. It’s about good communication, providing ongoing feedback, and effective coaching and development. It’s also about recognising good work and effective performance management.

In this informative and interactive workshop, we will take you on a practical tour of Managing Conflict, covering the 3 Rs – Recognising, Responding and Resolving.

We will not only explore conflict in the workplace but give you practical tips on handling those difficult conversations and an insight into the role of mediation.

Who is it for?

This workshop is aimed at line managers or those who have supervisory responsibilities and day-to-day management of others. It will be a small group of delegates, much like our usual face to face training which we have modified to suit an online session. You’ll just need a laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone – if you’re unsure on any technical aspects, please do call us to check on 020 3817 4434.
