Location and Travel

Abingdon Science Park is just a short walk from Abingdon-on-Thames town centre. It is also just 12 miles away from the Oxford Science Park and around six miles south of Oxford city centre. It is located eight miles north of the busy town of Didcot. Barton Lane, where the Science Park is based, is around 2.4 miles from the A34, which links to the M4 and M40 motorways. 

Rail services are available at Culham and Radley, both around two miles from the town centre. Both run services from Didcot to Oxford. Mainline services are available at nearby Oxford Railway Station and Didcot Parkway mainline railway some 8.6 miles south of Abingdon.

Abingdon Science Park is in close proximity to the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre, in Audlett Drive, which offers an array of sports and exercise classes, as well as swimming facilities. There is also Abingdon County Hall Museum, in Market Place, which tells the story of the town from the Ice Age through to the modern-day. 

Theatre lovers can head to the creatively named Unicorn Theatre, at Abingdon Abbey, while not too far from Abingdon Science Park is the Fairacres Retail Park, thought to be the first retail park in the UK and home to several well-known stores.
