How eLearning will benefit my business
Our eLearning courses have a whole host of benefits for both employers and employees, all of which play a role in ensuring organisational effectiveness, profitability, and risk mitigation.
Online training and development can help employees feel more engaged and valued, which can increase their effectiveness in their role. What’s more, it can build their competence and confidence, too, boosting productivity and performance. As well as this, because it keeps employees’ skills and knowledge up to date, it reduces the risk of mistakes which can cost a business.
Our HR courses allow your employees to learn in their own time, at their own pace. As well as being perfect for self-directed and refresher training, it also takes up less of the employer’s time, giving them the freedom to focus on growing other parts of their business.
It makes tracking results a breeze, too. In the online portal, you can easily see which employee has completed the training and how well they performed. All in all, our courses are a much more flexible option compared to traditional classroom learning.
eLearning Courses FAQ
Is online training effective for employees?
Short answer, yes! Online training is just as, if not, more effective than traditional classroom learning. Firstly, employees will have the freedom to complete the training in their own time, at their own pace, which can reduce stress and help them perform better. Secondly, online training can also boost employee confidence and make them feel valued in their role — boosting engagement and productivity. And thirdly, it keeps employees up to date with the latest knowledge, skills and laws that relate to their day-to-day roles. This can reduce the risk of mistakes that might cost a business.
How can I create an online training program for my employees?
Here’s a brief overview of how to create a training programme for your business:
- Define your learning goals: Create a list of clear and measurable learning goals — things that will benefit both the employee and employer.
- Choose a course topic: Decide on a course topic that will solve a problem or issue or fulfil a need in your business.
- Build a course structure: Put a plan in place for how you’re going to deliver the training and keep employees engaged.
- Create your course content: Whether you create from scratch or use templates from the web, ensure your content is led by your learning goals.
- Upload to your Learning Management System (LMS): Add your course to your LMS for employees to access.
It’s important to note that creating a training programme is best left to HR professionals. If you’d rather have us take care of your training programme, fill out the form above or drop us an email, and we’ll get back to you with more information.
What is employee training software?
Training software, sometimes known as a Learning Management System, is software that allows employees to learn online in the form of online courses. Businesses of all types use training software for administration, tracking, reporting and delivery of courses and training programs. As well as giving you the ability to create courses and organise employees into groups, it also has the tools to assign training to users and run tests.
What is the most effective way to deliver corporate training?
It all depends on the type of business you run and the resources you have available. For small to medium-sized businesses with fewer resources and smaller budgets, eLearning is a great cost-effective option that allows employees to learn anywhere they have an internet connection.
On the other hand, if you have a particularly large group of employees, you might benefit from a traditional approach that involves getting all employees together and delivering the training in person. Bear in mind that for the same result, this approach will cost a lot more money and require more planning.
Where can I start in creating an employee training program?
If you’re thinking about creating an employee training programme, you should first identify the training needs. Without knowing what you need to teach your employees, your training won’t be as effective or engaging.
Carry out a training audit. Work out what your company and employees need. Think about all the inefficiencies in your workplace, things that can be improved with training, and write them down. This will help you put together a vision of how the training programme should look.
